Enroll in a Safety First Boating School class, and get the N.J. BOATING SAFETY CERTIFICATE required by law.
Sign up today to reserve your spot. We will then contact you approximately 10 days before class for a credit card payment. The fee for the course is $80.
This is a TWO NIGHT COURSE. You must attend both sessions. A NJ BOATING SAFETY CERTIFICATE will be issued at the end of class upon successful completion of the exam.
CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
Safety First Boating School reserves the right to cancel any class due to COVID-19 restrictions, bad weather, or if less than 10 students register. If Safety First Boating School does cancel a class students will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund. No refund or credit will be given for ‘No Shows”
Safety First Boating School classes teach you the safety procedures that will make you a boater who knows what to do in any situation. You’ll go to sea with your state-required Boating Safety certificate and your confidence in your knowledge of the boater’s “Rules of the Road.” State laws and federal requirements are covered, as well as:
• Accidents
• Aids to Navigation
• Anchoring
• BWI
• Equipment
• Fueling
• Navigation Lights
• Personal Watercraft
• Trailering
• Other related Boating Safety topics including VHF (radio) usage.
Course text materials will be provided. One of our USCG-licensed captains will teach the class.
